Vegetable Broth

Prep Work

  1. Chop Vegetables

    Roughly chop the onions, carrots, beans, cabbage, broccoli, and celery

  2. Peel Garlic

    Peel the garlic cloves and keep them whole

  3. Prepare Ingredients

    Keep all the ingredients within reach, so the cooking process flows smoothly

Method

  1. Heat Pot

    Take a pot and heat it.

  2. Add Bay Leaf & Garlic

    Add oil. Then add bay leaf and garlic cloves

  3. Sauté Onions

    Add onions and mix well.

  4. Add Vegetables

    Next, add the roughly cut carrots, beans, cabbage, broccoli, and celery.

  5. Mix Vegetables

    Mix everything well and maintain the flame on low.

  6. Season Vegetables

    Then, add salt and pepper powder. Adjust the seasoning according to the vegetable quantities you are using.

  7. Add Water & Simmer

    Pour water and keep the flame on medium. Let the vegetables cook for about 30 minutes.

  8. Turn Off Heat

    After 30 minutes, turn off the stove and let the broth cool down completely.

  9. Strain & Store

    Then strain the broth, transfer it to a glass jar and freeze it for up to 2-3 months or store it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.

  10. Use Broth

    You can use this delicious vegetable broth as a base for other recipes or simply heat it up and enjoy it as a comforting soup.
