Prep Work

  1. Finely chop the onion and keep it aside.

  2. Wash the mushrooms and pat them dry.
  3. Finely chop the garlic and set it aside.
  4. Roughly chop coriander leaves for garnishing.

Method

  1. Take unsalted butter in a pan and let it melt fully.

  2. Add chopped onions to the pan and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the cleaned mushrooms and saute for a minute or two.
  4. Add the chopped garlic and mix everything well.
  5. Let the mushrooms cook for a 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in salt and crushed pepper, mixing well.
  7. Once mushrooms are cooked, add chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Saute for a few more seconds, then turn off the stove.
  9. Serve the butter garlic mushrooms hot with bread or focaccia.
